Day Three

Today was a great day. Francesca & Kara had the opportunity to work with Cindy, Ralph, Peter Allen, and a Belizean woman named Bev with their project to start a hospice program here in Belize. We met for about 3 hours in Belmopan and got to discuss everything from the set up and building plans to volunteers and doctors.

Meanwhile, the entire time we all were chatting, Doug was attempting to set up the telemedicine system for Peter and Bev to see. Due to some intense firewalling though, the system could not get through! Good try though Doug!

We even had the chance to see the building site for the future hospice.
